Our story

O.M.G. is the acronym of the company, founded in 1984, Officine Meccaniche Ghiglia, named after the founders Adriano Ghiglia and his wife Giovanna.

He immediately specialized in sheet metal working and mechanical construction in general, operating mainly for 3M Italia Spa, the Italian reference of the well-known multinational leader in the production of equipment for radiographic development.

This educated O.M.G. to the values ​​of quality and reliability, connotations that he has never abandoned and which even today are the basis on which the company bases its activities.

Subsequently, the company started operating for companies in the railway rolling stock sector, establishing supply relationships, among others, with Alstom, Hitachi (Ansaldobreda), Bombardier, Titagarh Firema Adler and Siemens, gaining the recognition of "reliable supplier". for the construction, maintenance and repair of rolling stock.

Thanks to precise and complex strategies, the company (together with SAIEM Srl and SITAV Spa) is now able to provide its customers with maximum flexibility and speed, both in design and production.

The continuous development of the company and the Group constitutes a precise will of the descendants of the Founder Ghiglia (who now have control over it), together with the pursuit of objectives linked to continuous innovation (both of processes and machinery) and the continuous improvement of the requirements quality.
